How to Make a Spider Web Halloween Banner

Image
Spiders are always a popular theme for Halloween. You can make a quick and easy spider web banner using a cutting die, spiderweb doilies, or even by making paper webs by hand. These spooky cobweb designs are easy to hang thanks to their natural pattern holes. Trick or Treat! Enjoy learning how to make a spider web banner which looks very effective as part of your Halloween decorations. Once you have the webs, which can easily be made from die cuts and even doilies, add a fun phrase across the middles using alphabet dies or stickers. Many kids enjoy making paper spiderwebs as a Halloween paper craft. If they can make at least 3 then you'll have enough to spell out BOO to make a small but cute spiderweb garland.

Easy Halloween Tissue Paper Garland Tutorial

Image
This is a quick and easy craft to make a simple hanging decoration or garland using tissue paper. It's so quick and easy that kids can learn to make this too. They will need to know how to fold concertina or accordion style, how to cut with scissors and how to tie a double knot. Many age 7+ children will have some or all of the skills to create this easy Halloween tissue paper garland. We choose to make this using black and orange tissue paper for the Fall season.  Black and a nice pumpkin orange fit with our theme well but you may want to choose ghostly white, grays, purples, monster greens, blood reds or other colors that work with your own choice of decorations around the home.

Halloween Boo Banner Craft Tutorial

Image
This DIY BOO banner in card and paper is quick and easy to make up for your Halloween decorations because it only has 3 pennant flag sections, one for each of the letters used. I made this banner in grays and blacks with just a hint of pumpkin orange and white for the letters to make them really pop out as you can see from the photo. If you don't have time to stretch to making a large garland, banner or section of bunting, this smaller design is ideal for you to make. The triangular flag sections come from a free printable template which is one that I use for a number of crafts and you can print out large lettering from a computer, draw them out yourself, use a stencil or even buy some extra large chipboard letters.
