I work as a freelance writer and have written extensively online on crafts and many other topics online. Since I happen to love both crafting and writing, I'm often combining the two by creating free tutorials, tips, ideas and inspiration. Most of the fun is in sharing so that other people can enjoy getting a creative fix too.

Halloween Crafts and Fun


Halloween is a real favorite occasion of mine, and my daughter's too since she loves any excuse to dress up. We love going mad with all the crafts and decorations. It is a time of year where we can be extra creative and have plenty of fun in the process. Here she is in one of her many costumes.


Where to Find Me on Social Media Sites 


I'm the first to admit that I'd much rather be crafting or writing than using social media which is a big time suck in my opinion. However, I do often take time to post new craft articles on Pinterest as well as on Google plus. Those are the social media sites that I enjoy using in moderation. Pinterest is a site I just love to browse through in my spare time and I share many crafting ideas and inspiration there not just from myself.

My Crafting Experience


I've been passionate about crafts since I was very young and my Mom showed me how to knit and hand sew. It spiraled from there and I'd say that I'm a pretty good all-rounder with being able to turn my hand to a lot of different crafts quite easily. There's no particular craft that I really specialize in but I particularly love crochet, a ton of paper-crafts, sewing by hand and machine, fused Perler beads and making anything that looks cute and fun. What You Can Expect Here 


I started to write so many articles on the Halloween season that I finally decided to bring many of them together into their own website which I thought would be great for people who are just looking for things to make, craft and do for this particular occasion. I know that I'm not the only person who can spend many months preparing for this event making decorations for the home, costume accessories, fun food and trick or treating items.

You'll find crafts and activities for kids here but mostly this (like the bulk of my work) is based around adult crafting and things that grown-ups can make. You'll get free printables and templates from time to time as well as many tutorials and ideas to make October 31st a really fun time. Thanks for your visit and stopping to learn a little about me.
