Free Halloween Printable Sheets to Make a Banner
These free printables are designed to work with my Happy Halloween Banner craft which is here on this site. But they can also be used for other paper craft projects too. They have rather a creepy vintage style look to them with the antiques style backgrounds.
Note: all of these free design sheets are made using free public domain images from the site Pixabay. They have all been altered and then sized to all the same proportions so that it will make creating the banner nice and easy for you.
Click on each image to open up the full size which is best for printing and choose "Save As" or "Save Image As" to download it.

How to Print and Use These Halloween Banner Sheets
These printable sheets are designed to be simple to use, but a few small choices make a big difference to the finished look of your banner.
Choosing Paper
Ordinary printer paper works, but a thin card or cardstock gives a sturdier banner that hangs flat and lasts for more than one season. A cream or ivory card suits the vintage look of these designs. If you only have thin paper, glue each printed sheet onto a piece of card before cutting it out.
Printing Tips
- Open the full-size image before saving it so you print the largest version.
- Choose your printer's "fit to page" option so nothing is cropped at the edges.
- Print one test sheet in draft mode first to check the size and colors before printing the full set.
- Let the ink dry for a few minutes before cutting so it does not smudge.
Putting the Banner Together
- Cut out each panel carefully along the edges, or trim them into pennant flag shapes if you prefer.
- Punch two holes near the top corners of every panel.
- Thread the panels onto ribbon, twine or baker's twine, leaving a small gap between each one.
- Leave a long tail of ribbon at each end so you can tie the banner to hooks, a curtain rail or a mantel.
More Ways to Use the Images
The individual images also work well on their own. Use them to make greeting cards and party invitations, gift tags for treat bags, labels for jars and bottles, or framed prints for a Halloween gallery wall. They also look great displayed alongside our mason jar Halloween lanterns.
