Halloween Book Spines Free Printables

Image
To make my bookcase look a little more authentic for the upcoming season, I wanted to create an illusion of having some witch or wizard themed books instead of the regular ones on gardening and nature. You can get printable book covers but I only needed something to quickly cover the spines of a selection of books which are out on show. Included are some free, printable Halloween book spines for you to use for your own decorations this Fall season. I came up with a set of 10 fun themed titles which you can print off and use for your own decorations. This post contains the freebies for printing as well as a quick how to on getting the look.

How to Make a Witch Spell Book Tutorial

Image
A witch's spell book prop makes a great decoration for a large display unit and I wanted one. I didn't care to spend too much time making this Halloween prop because I've got lots of other decorations to work on too. I came up with this quick witch spell book tutorial which doesn't take hours of your time to make and looks simply amazing. You just need to allow some drying time for thick coats of paint and glitter.   Grab yourself a hard cover notebook or unwanted reading book that you can use to turn into a feature Halloween piece. Your completed book will sit on a display shelf, book case, mantel or a stand where it can be admired and appreciated by all your guests.

Bat Pom Pom Craft Tutorial and Free Template

Image
Now yarn pom poms are super easy and quick to make with the introduction of lots of modern makers and gizmos, it means you can quickly create some easy DIY hanging bat decorations for Halloween. These Bat pom poms can be hung down a wall, from a shelf, across a door or opening or in a porch even. They make rather cute looking and cuddly yarn pets for the spook time season. Come see how to make these by reading on. These are simple to make and I've made it even easier by providing my template for the wings as a free printable so you don't need to draw some yourself. Kids can have fun making these using a child friendly alternative to a glue gun or just by getting adults to do all the sticking instead.

Perler Bead Witch Owl Pattern for Halloween

Image
Have a hoot making a cute looking owl design for Halloween which is topped off with a pointy witch hat with buckle. This pattern has been made using fused Perler beads although you can use other brands such as Hama. These Perler Bead witch owl designs have been made for decorations to place around the home during October. I'll probably add some twine or cord to the back for hanging these up as door or wall decor. You could prop these up on a shelf, have them peeking out a window or use them to make large coasters for the occasion. I'll be happy to hear what you use them for in the comments section.
